Agnieszka Cieśla

 

(b. 1979)  architect, urban planner, and assistant professor at the Department of Spatial Planning and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography, Warsaw University of Technology. Cieśla specializes in issues surrounding population aging and its spatial implications, and earned her doctorate from the Bauhaus University in Weimar in this field. She is a civic activist, the founder of the Mimo Wieku Foundation, the creator and organizer of Poland’s first Model Senior Apartment, and a contributor to numerous research and implementation projects, some of which have been international in scope (including NET4AGE-FRIENDLY COST Action).
