Weronika Zalewska

 

(b. 1994) — intermedia artist, graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Zalewska works in video, sculpture, and interventions. Her interests encompass the urban landscape, futurology, and environmentalism. The vast majority of her artistic practice has roots in the projects she created with the School of Love collective: a platform for the experimental study of solutions to existing hierarchies in art institutions and the exploration of love as a social and political concept. This year Zalewska’s work has been displayed in Białystok, Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Warsaw (Department of Presence at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw), among others.
